Three CHÉOS Scientists have received awards from the UBC Faculty of Medicine. The annual competition recognizes faculty members in a number of categories, including teaching, research, and innovation.
- Dr. Brian Westerberg has received a Clinical Faculty Award for Career Excellence in Clinical Teaching;
- Dr. Eugenia Oviedo-Joekes was awarded a Distinguished Achievement Award—Excellence in Clinical or Applied Research;
- Finally, Dr. Martin Schechter received a Distinguished Achievement Award—Overall Excellence – Senior Faculty.
