Josie Geller
SCIENTIST, PHD, R. PSYCH.
Dr. Josie Geller is an Associate Professor in the Department of Psychiatry at the University of British Columbia and the Director of Research in the Eating Disorders Program at St. Paul’s Hospital.
Her clinical and research interests focus on understanding readiness and motivation for change in the assessment and treatment of individuals with eating disorders, the role of self-compassion in recovery, and the delivery of patient-centred, collaborative care.
She currently holds a Health Professional Investigator Award from the Michael Smith Foundation for Health Research and a grant from the Canadian Institutes of Health Research.
