Kate joined the VALHUE Team (Value and Limitations in Hospitalization and Expenditure) in 2015. The focus of the study is patient quality improvement and works across a number of surgical specialties. As of Fall 2022 the project has expanded to include stroke patients.

Kate is passionate about improving the patient journey and brings a wealth of care experience from working with national programs in the NHS to various roles across VCH from ED to Primary care. She holds a MSc. Degree in Social Research specializing in Health Care and Criminology.
