Timo Tolppa

Research Assistant

Timo Tolppa is a Research Assistant and PhD student supervised by Dr. Srinivas Murthy. He is working to address global inequities in clinical trial conduct and participation through his work on clinical trials methods research in South Asia. Timo hopes to return to clinical practice and combine a career as a critical care physician with an academic career as a clinical trialist. When not working or traveling to South Asia to collaborate on research projects, he pursues his passion for storytelling by volunteering for a charity called Global Health Film and spends his free time running, reading and watching Eurovision.
